Too many people stay stuck in safe choices that don't make them happy. I want to share my story because I've been there, and I learned something important on the other side.
I know how hard it gets. Your intuition tells you one thing, but your brain tells you to quit and play it safe. The challenge feels too big.
I get it. I've been there too.
A few years ago, I had to pick a university. I really wanted to go to one specific school it felt right in my gut. But it was expensive. I didn't have the money, and my family couldn't help me either.
So I had two choices: go to the cheaper university and forget my dream, or take a risk on the one I actually wanted.
I chose the expensive one, even though I had no idea how I'd pay for it.
Here's what happened next:
When you're brave enough to chase your dreams, even when it seems impossible, opportunities start showing up.
Because I put myself in that tough spot, my brain had to figure things out. The pressure made me search for answers. I found work. I found ideas. I paid for my university.
None of that would have happened if I'd played it safe. Sometimes you need to put yourself in an uncomfortable situation to discover what you're capable of.
That experience changed me. I started trusting my own intuition instead of doing what everyone expected. I took more risks.
After one year at that university, I realized something: I was studying the wrong thing. Even though I'd sacrificed so much to get there, I wasn't happy. I'd sit in class just waiting for it to end. The curiosity was gone.
So I quit.
Most people thought I was crazy. They said I was throwing everything away. But deep down, I knew I couldn't spend four more years on a path that didn't feel right.
I learned something important: Life rewards people who are brave enough to say no to what everyone expects and yes to what their heart is telling them.
Yes, it's scary at first. But once you push through that fear, you realize it wasn't as bad as you thought. And on the other side?
That's where your real life begins.
If my story means something to you, reach out. Tell me about a dream you're scared to chase. Or share a win you've already had. I love connecting with people who have goals and actually go after them.
See you next week, my friend.
Stay brave.
