The Importance of Daily Choices

Sometimes, it’s better to choose the hard way because it will teach you many more things about life than staying in your comfort zone.

We will discuss the importance of everyday choices made by people who have ambitions for success and how to look at your life in a way that will only bring you closer to your goals.

Let's dive in…

The Main Problem: Mindset

The main problem lies in people's mindsets. You always think that the successful person you admire has something you don't, had more luck in life, or that someone helped them become who they are. Sometimes you even forget that the person with 1 million followers now once started from the bottom with 0 followers.

And I get it, it's hard to believe that successful, rich people are actually just as normal as you. But the difference between them and you is their mindset about life, their daily choices based on their standards, and their values in life.

That's why there are happy people earning $5k per month and sad people earning $15k per month. This is because there's a big difference between their visions and goals in life versus their actual life.

The guy with $15k probably thinks he deserves even more, and his standards for earning money are $30k per month.

That's why someone might ask, "Why do you need more money?"

But the thing is, he doesn't actually need it, he just wants to meet his standards of life.

Understanding Growth Takes Time

Most of the people don't understand how much time a business actually needs to grow and become successful. They underestimate the work required because it's too hard to look forward and make plans for 5 years ahead.

Their choices are based on the principle that will produce results as fast as possible.

Examples:

  • Skip gym today - (whatever, I went yesterday, I'll go tomorrow)

vs.

  • Go to the gym - (be in the present moment, use your time wisely, and feel confident and proud of yourself at the end of the day)

or

  • earn $5k per month job that won't give you growth and opportunities for development but provides fast money

vs.

  • earn $2k starting salary per month where if you improve, the salary will increase as your ability to get work done fast and efficiently improves

Sometimes, it’s better to choose the hard way because it will teach you many more things about life than staying in your comfort zone.

Here’s the tricky part: your brain can make you think that the hard way isn’t worth it, simply because it’s unpredictable and you feel scared.

But believe me, it’s better to face your fears and see what life will bring you at the end of the road than to stay safe and have that background noise in your head telling you every day why you didn’t take this risk.

The Power of Compound Growth

Most people think about today and the near future and make decisions based on how quickly they'll see outcomes. This is why they quit before seeing results.

I want to teach you to take advantage of every day you have on this planet while keeping in mind that you can develop something bigger than yourself through consistent work and critical thinking when making choices.

Let's say you want to create a personal brand.

You think that 1-2 posts per day is miserable and nobody will see your brand, but what if you post consistently for the next 5 years? That's 1,825 to 3,650 pieces of content. Imagine the audience, expertise, and opportunities that would create.

The Success Formula is here:

What you need to do is simple but not easy:

1. Choose Future-Focused Tasks

Choose the tasks you need to do today that will lead to the best outcome in the future, not just what feels good right now.

2. Stay Present While Working

Focus on today without obsessing over the desired outcome, be in the present moment and live your life happily with your daily small but meaningful actions that will move the needle.

3. Use the Success Filter

Always look at tasks like this: If it won't help you create the life you want, don't do it.

This should always be in your mind before taking any action.

For the next week, before making any decision, ask yourself:

"Does this choice move me toward my 5-year vision or away from it?"

Keep a simple log of your answers.

You'll be shocked at how many unconscious choices are sabotaging your future success.

This is the way you should look at life in order to make real progress and get closer to your personal goals. Success isn't about having special talents or luck it's about making better daily choices consistently over time.

If you’re feeling uncertain about your standards and what you truly value in life, I’ve created a simple yet powerful system to help you align your actions with what really matters to you.

In my book, you’ll discover your core values, and by the end, you’ll be able to view life from your unique perspective, shaped by my guidance and your choices. Your decisions will bring you closer to achieving your goals!
